Don't know about taiwanese movies because I haven't see many. But taiwanese series most of the times have happy end. Suggest: HIStory 2 Crossing the line or HIStory 3 Trapped. Both are in YT.

Well, hmm... no really know what to say...Cannot see any romance at all but just an older guy being kind to a student who happens to be gay, and well, that's it, nothing happens. Don't take me wrong, was no looking for steaming sexy bits... if a love story is good, is good without too...but some kind of attraction, dunno something to show that they were both in the same page.
