Im finishing up an 11 hour shift here in San Diego, and until you see how much people are struggling to pay rent, buy food, buy gas, to just get by, while homeless are on every other street corner and offramp in many places, Democrats will continue to lose while focusing on identity politics and abortion. I will say that it’s a damn shame that the citizens of the most prosperous country in the world have to choose. There’s no reality where we can justify a girl/woman being r@ped or possibly dying from pregnancy/childbirth having to travel to another state where abortion rights are recognized and maybe, possibly getting one in time. There’s no reality where that should happen, nor a reality where we have to wonder if we can work full time and still maybe, maybe not afford to live. The fact that 14% of this country believes abortion should be illegal even in the event of the mothers’ death is wild to me. An unborn fetus is more valuable than a grown woman’s life to these people? How? Why? Cuz women have no purpose beyond that to them? That’s an infuriating and frightening thought. Some things shouldn’t become so politicized that we lose sight of the simple fact that these things are suppose to be OUR RIGHTS as Americans. Some things aren’t a matter of opinion, they just need to be respected and provided and available for those who truly need it. If abortion is such a concern, make the pill free. Hell, make all medications either free or affordable. Our federal government gave 58 billion dollars to Ukraine after their war with Russia. OK fine, but then they talk about money when they’re own people need access to basic resources? I know that just because something SHOULD be doesn’t mean it is or ever will be. Life isn’t like that. I’m just saying we’re looking at a lot of issues through a political lens (because we’re conditioned to do so) when we should be looking at it from a place of simple human rights and interests.

Sure but Trump isn't going to make things affordable. No one knows who tariffs works so grats the trump voter played themselves. I do have a feeling some know what tariffs are and just want to see things burns to play out their dooms day bunker play for real this time!

Think of it like how in a tv show there’s this one character that is absolutely insufferable that this character. However for some reason having one really badly written and insufferable character shouldn’t automatically make the everyone else and the game itself inherently bad. Everything else and the main story itself does not have that. It’s mostly actual Fantasy story beats and lore. Most of the outrage comes from people who have not actually played the game. He’s about to f*ck the economy again but ok 😂 People need to learn how tariffs work, and how immigrants pay billions into the system (97 billion last year). They help to prop up Medicaid and social security, so good luck retiring or getting medical care in the future 🎉 They make up more than half of the labor force and without them the price of food and goods will go up. The Affordable Health Act that keeps life saving drugs cheap for us will also be dismantled.

Quite a few times this cycle the electoral college was called for both candidates over an hour before the votes were being tallied, but mostly for Kamala. People are so used to things staying the same that when things change, like half of California and New York becoming red that they jump the gun and it makes the individuals look bad.
@liarwithagun2 ай бұрын
This is just every state really. If you are college educated or in an urban city, most vote blue, and if you are not college educated or live in a rural place, most vote red. The states that went red were because the cities weren't able to overpower the rural areas, and the reverse is true for states that went blue.
