The ranni ending is the best by far for the people in the game. Ranni essentially forces a world reset and removes god deity like figures from the planet as a whole by leaving. and since we as the player kill the rest and leave with her all thats left is pure neutrality. if we choose to sit on the throne ourselves nothing changes we are a vessel without a soul because our player has no agency outside of the grace controlled by marika. I WILL PAY YOU to have the age of stars on the channel.

I sorta view the whole ChaosOrder dynamic as a 2D graph, with PleasureSuffering being the other plane. You could have a pleasurable order, such as the potential of Goldmask’s ending, or pleasurable chaos, which could be Ranni’s ending. Likewise, you could go the route of suffering chaos in the Chaos Flame ending, or an orderly suffering via the much more mundane Fractured Order ending

Fun thought that isn't particularly hard to picture: The Greater Will shattering into reality is obviously a reference to The Big Bang, and there's an obvious link between the three fingers and the two fingers: the two fingers and the finger creeper mobs are all spawn of Metyr. The symbolism of the two fingers is aligned with a fundamental aspect of order: Dichotomy (or as Miazaki has long-emphasized in Dark Souls, Disparity) which is the binary nature of reality. Good and evil light and dark life and death, etc. Even the golden order of Radagon is dichotemous. It's Two founding principles are Causality (actions have consequences) and Regression (all things regress to an origin point). Importantly, the flame of frenzy is golden-hued, just like faith spells of the golden order.

Lovecraft and grandiose translations have done wonders to turn the "outer gods" into all powerful gods in the mind of the community. What "outer" means in this case is "external to the Order", and it does nothing to represent their actual power over the world. There are three kinds of "gods" in Elden Ring: the Greater Will, a monotheistic capital g God responsible for the creation of everything who has nigh absolute control over the universe as a whole, the god of the current Order, who wields the Elden Ring and decides which aspects of the universe are considered the "good" ones on the world where the Elden Ring resides, and the outer gods. What the outer gods actually are is closer to the concept of "kami" in Shinto. The living representations of the world's various aspects. Some can be as abstract as the Blood Star who represents self harm as a form of penitence or as literal as death. Some can be as involved as the Scarlet Rot trying to consume all life to replace it with its own or as aloof as the Twin Moons just hanging out and sharing magic with some humans. Even the Flame of Frenzy can be seen as the world's natural response to pain and suffering. If, for example, the Tarnished was given to option to join a covenant with the Mother of Truth, and once they ascended modified the Elden Ring to include the Mother in the Order while excluding the other outer gods, the Mother of Truth would cease to be an outer god.

We actually know what Marika's perceived crime was. Seducing their god, murdering him, ripping out his divinity, and turning that divinity into the elden ring. This us actually shown in the DLC trailer. Her stealing that divinity is what kept them from just ascending another god as well, since we know Miqurlla adcended despite Marika's divinity still existing. Also, there's a theory I have... the Hornsent didn't start as extremist as they are in-game. It was Eiglay and the first sin that led to their extremism, and Marika's village isn't the first civilization or religious sect that the hornsent conquered and stomped out.

The Aged Untouchables are actually not an instant kill if you have 60 or more vigor and are at full health. The bubble tear helps quite a bit as it removes the initial tick of damage richard. So if you're at full health at 60 Vigor you get two chances to successfully Parry the enemy

Nux you should read Tantra Illuminated, it's a great book that goes over a tradition that serves as the origin of a great deal of western esoteric thought and relates to alot of the ideas with the frenzied flame (pantheism, dissolving all things into their basest shared forms, seeing things as unified as opposed to divided, etc.)

I don't think Nux understands that the Frenzied flame is a part of the order of things even if many characters sees it as chaotic. Hayetta and Shabriri are an example their original bodies died yet even when they were possessed by the knowledge of frenzy they still live as spirits hoping into bodies to infect another person with the Frenzy thus destroying the idea that Frenzy would just cause chaos and is there to oppose order, it is in fact enforcing a different kind of order one where everything is melted back into one and by doing so it would just give rise to a world without any of the fractures that occurred in the beginning. It's essentially trying to create a new big bang which it would then reshape everything the greater will/One Great brought about. Again these are Three Fingers so far not much is clear about if they are in direct contract with the one great, only that they are aware that the one great had a greater will which gave rise to life in the beginning, the three fingers themselves might just be in the dark and abandoned similar to how Metyr, Elden Beast, and the Elden Ring cosmology had been abandoned after the greater will had created life and left.

The outer goddess of Blood is formed from the concept of the One Great's blood, the outer goddess of Rot is from the discord that split the One Great into disparate parts.
