دانتے کو چرچ نے چودویں صدی کے شروع میں کرہشن کے چارجز لگا کر جو شہر بدری کی جو سزا دی تھی وہ سزا اب دانتے کے مرنے کے 701 سال بعد اب ختم کر دی گئی ھے ۔ 2008 میں اٹلی کے اسی شہر فلارنس کی سٹی کونسل نے دانتے پر سے کرہشن کے تمان چارجز ختم کر دیئے اور اس کی سزا کالعدم کر دی ۔ یعنی دانتے اب شہر میں آنا چاھے تو آ سکتا ھے ۔ دانتے کو اس کی موت کے 701 برس بعد کلین چٹ ملی ، ساتھ میں فلارنس شہر کا سب سے بڑا اعزاز بھی دیا گیا ۔

Influence of Islam on Dante’s Divine Comedy: This subject has been studied in western academia, most importantly by a Spanish scholar Migvel Asin in his book, “La Escatología musulmana en la Divina Comedia (1919)”. and also by the Italian scholar Enrico Cerculi. They have indicated that Dante (1320) was influenced by Kitab Al Miraj(by Imam Qushayri -1020) because of many similarity in themes. They have said this because of the presence of an early translation of Kitab al miraj in French Le livre de l’eschiele Mahomet (1264), which is a translation of the Latin Liber Scalae Machometi, which is a translation of a Castilian translation of the Arabic Kitab al-Miraj.

How can a Muslim read such disrespectful fiction because in Inferno Dante briefly describes meeting Prophet Muhammad [Pbuh] in 8 circle of hell and potray as him being punished (Naudhubillah min zaalik). He got inspired by the journey of Meraj and came with his own fictional writing, and you’re calling him an amazing person, rather than a intellectual fraud

Dante put Salahuddin ayubi and Ibn-e-Sina in limbo , the first circle of hell after ante-inferno and there is blasphemous content against our Prophet Muhammad PBUH and Hazrat Ali (RA) as well in this poem as well.
