100 catchy kpop songs from 2012, and before

I wanted to find some new kpop songs to listen to. People kept on saying that the songs from 2012, and before, were the ones from kpop's "golden era". Therefor I decided to make this video, which includes 100 of my favorite kpop songs from 2012 and before. My idea with making this, was to not only find new songs, but also maybe help you guys with finding new songs, or with waking up some of your old memories. I most likely forgot a song while in progress of making this, and changed it to another song. Oh well.. They're in no particular order.

Woah it's already 10 years since i discovered kpop. Those times girl groups had different styles. All of them used to look so nice, but now they look like mass produced dolls. Same for male. Kpop is good now but back then was just the best

I consider the 90's era to be the true Golden Age KPop and the 2000s as the 2nd Golden Age, not because it's from a past decade but because majority of stuffs at that time felt very distinctive.. It was flooding with different concepts and styles, despite some of the idols sharing the same look..

Definitely, there's so many bangers from 2012 and before that isn't on this list. There is even some groups that was left out like dgna, x-5, c-real, etc. Heck you could even make four more 100 songs from 2012 and before videos.

I didn't get into k-pop until roughly around the time of EXID's "Up and Down" - this was a fascinating journey into K-Pop's past. Great job getting it all together! I think CHI CHI's "Love is Energy" was the biggest surprise to me - it hit me REAL good.

Even though I just joined KPOP a few months ago I feel like the Golden Era is still the best era in KPOP. I still love the newer groups but I love the older groups the best! There is a different feeling in KPOP songs from this time. This era changed the KPOP world a lot in my opinion.I wish there are groups that have a mix of KPOP from today to KPOP from the past! If there's one please tell me! I will definitely stan them!

I feel like Jpop is becoming similar to Kpop from the old era like =love be selfish has a K-pop vibe, Nik has members that were in K-pop groups so I recommend them, Octpath has some cute music with Like, Bugvel has a K-pop vibe and they make their own music. Mirror Canto-pop boy group has old K-pop vibes. So for me I’m enjoying mirror, Jpop & older Kpop songs plus some recent K-pop but I’m into smaller groups instead of popular groups because they deserve love as well.

Aaaah this was a magical time in kpop. Before the mainstream attention, before streaming apps, before 4K videos (not that those are bad), but the scarcity made it so much more appealing. Also all the bands were so much more quirky and creative. The concepts, the hairstyles, the outfits, the dances... Truly a good time to be alive. Thank you for this whiplash experience op ;)
