FYI - The Clipboard History is NOT a Basic feature in Alfred 4.2. You must purchase the PowerPack for that feature.

great that you shared what you are doing. But starters like myself have no idea how to implement your github.

Hey. Good point. I might add that. Mostly you download the ".workflow" files and open them in Alfred. But I get how that can be confusing at the beginning.

video notes (edited to reflect current free & paid features, different from video) ## Free core features - can - find files, ~~contacts~~, apps (faster than spotlight), & preview them - navigate to system settings, - use action keywords: - **"find..."** **"open..."** to find or open a file - use **"in..."** to look for specific keyword __in files__ - search web - would give option for you to look in - google - amazon - wikipedia - open google maps - type "maps ..." - search bookmarks - calculator: - type the calculation in the search bar, press enter & it will have copied the answer, so you can just paste it where you want it. - Dictionary - **"spell..." **suggests spellings - **"define..."** gives you definition you can paste ----------------------------------------------------------------- - ## Paid powerpack - magnify text : type **cmd+L** and you can see that text enlarged on the screen, for example to show someone something. - put computer to sleep or shut it down. - "logout" - "sleep" - "lock" - "restart" - "shutdown" - clipboard feature - options for how long you want to keep - text, image, file lists. Can define hotkey. - need to activate in preferences as by default it is not on. - search contacts - 1Password - ### workflow - not yet noted from [video](kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZzFZ3p_gMd7epo), #[[To continue]] - **Spotify mini player** - alfred-spotify-mini-player.com - Access - Slack - Dropbox - Stack Overflow - & even Tweet from Alfred - **Convert** between different units or quantities (offline) - **Colors** convert color formats to - hexadecimal - RGB - HSL - named - **Time Zones** - start with typing 'tz' and will show list of - predefined time zones - their phone code - can also type your local time to check what time that is in other time - jhartman.pl/2016/12/14/alfred-3-workflow-time-zone/ - **Simple Timer** - www.packal.org/workflow/simple-timer - similar to #Gestimer but less customizable, & without drag & drop Of course still cooler to see him demonstrate!

2:43 Not entirely true, you can make your own Apple Scripts to Restart, Shut down, Lock Screen, whatever really that you can trigger via Spotlight.

Thanks for the update. Still if you need a script for that it is that useful
