I feel like the double decker buses are rarely worth it, only if you are there for a day or two. The metro and regular buses are much cheaper. You can easily have a 30-40 dollar day if you go to a museum like the Louvre or the Centre Pompidou, you can spend all day in there.

In your opinion do you think the Louvre is worth visiting?
@Caspitein
@Caspitein Жыл бұрын
@@princeflurry Yeah, 100%. So many famous works to see there, you can spend an entire day in there and still not see everything. Avoid spending time at the Mona Lisa though, you can get a good enough view from the side :)

@Caspitein You said I could spend the entire day there and still not see everything. Is that because it's very busy or because it's a very big place?
@Caspitein
@Caspitein Жыл бұрын
@@princeflurry Mainly because it's so big. It can be crowdy, but that's mainly at the famous artworks like Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo and Liberty Leading the People. It's definitely worth it to make the Louvre an (almost) all-day activity.

As a Lebanese who grew up studying french and reading a lot of french books, I was overcome with emotion walking the streets of Paris :) and now still, watching this video. 4:29 Yes, Paris has a lot going for her, Hollywood, sex symbol, good weather, cafés, cuisine, fashion, awesome architecture from a lot of historical periods, gardens, city of love, romantic street lights (long before electricity), but also a huge collection of fine arts, a lot of it of international fame. My favorite museum is The Musée d'Orsay, I like impressionist and post impressionist art more than renaissance stuff. For me personally though, Paris also represents Freedom, and Freedom of expression. Not perfect (no country is), but there is a reason why a lots of writers and artists came to "share their ideas" in Paris over the centuries.

It's getting dark so late not only bacause of summer but also becasue France isn't in the natural timezone. They are in the time zone GMT+2 becasue almost all countries in europe are in this time zone, but they naturally belong to the time zone GMT+1. This is also for Netherlands,Belgium and Spain.

I visited France this year, I went to the restaurant they charged me $16 for a large Cooke 😮 and the taxi 🚖 driver attempted to cheat me by driving farther away from the address I gave to him. I had to ask him to stop . I ended up walking to my hotel. Other than that I had fun in Paris. 😅

As someone living in Paris, I have a love/hate relationship with it. While it is a beautiful city, it's also very loud, crowded, full of tourists, and expensive. I do think that it is highly romanticized in media, as there are many cities in Europe that are as beautiful as Paris, yet do not get the same clout.

0:15 euro is not the officially currency of Europe, as Europe is not a country. It's the currency of the countries that are members of the EU (European Union) and part of the Eurozone. Not all countries in Europe use it and not all countries in the EU use it. For example, Sweden, Poland, Czechia and Hungary are part of the EU, but not in the Eurozone. So they use their own currency instead. Love your content, come to Greece, I'd love to show you around!
