Hi did my research since i felt this was not possible.. many articles available online calling them fake. These are basically scam corporations trying to earn from youtube by copying from old channels who used to show simple primitive stuff. Now they have started destroying lands and forests to satisfy their needs. They simply abandon the place completely trashed and because of this stagnant water mosquitoes have also increased. Please do not support. thanks. m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/j3TcfYqehdOkZ68

This is absolutely beautiful and innovative. I do wonder how they would change the pools water if and when it gets dirty. And what if it rains? How would they stop the insides of the hut from flooding since there's no visible drainage.

I'm not sure if any of the treatment they did on the pool bottom is completely water tight. When you make a clay pond, there's a predictable amount of water loss through seepage and evaporation so maybe the water input balances that.

The grass can double as protection from erosion and stuff, which is why they cover the "roof" with it I suspect. Not sure how a place like this will handle rain, but I'm guessing they were coating the steps with a layer of clay or something else

This is beyond amazing!!! I loved it so much I wish there was a followup that went into more detail on some stuff, because I've got tons of specific questions now. Like, how did you mix the blue pigment? What made it so the water didn't just wash it away? Do you have to stop the water flow somehow to keep the pool from overflowing? How do you pick the location to build this? Does the kind of ground/dirt at the location mater/impact what you can make? How long does a construction like this last? How well does it hold up to natural forced like rain and wind and stuff?

Had some interesting questions also. What happens under heavy rain? Like what kind of material is that ground they dug into... clay? So I guess it doesn't wash away and collapse at least. The water is standing still pretty much? Or does it flow somewhere? If you have a long time standing water it willl get kinda filthy I guess? (Algae etc.) I suppose they can remove one of the bamboos from the water source if it gets overfilled. Best would be if there was some sort of underground drain where a bit of the water would leak from the pool, then the water would keep changing to fresh one all the time.

These structures aren't built for long term inhabitation. They're very creative and look great, but there's a reason man didn't dig his home into the dirt....rainfall. Once rain comes, all of the intricate work will wash off. Give it a year and you'll just have a hole in the ground.

This is obviously not a long-lasting thing. I would say, a week or two, before the grass and plants will die, and walls and foundation will turn into mud. We can see that it requires constant water flow. Also of course those idyllic scenes are made specifically for the filming - for example I don't think it is very comfortable or even safe to sleep in this hole without any ventilation on hard bamboo "beds". Those videos are made to have fun, not to really build a spa. And this video has more than 100M views which assuming 3kUSD/Mview gives c.a. 100kUSD/person for 3 months of work.

First, this is impressive. Details and such look really great. But there are some things i can't understand. 1. From which material is the hill? It looks like some sand or so. What wilkl happen after a rain or after some time? I can't see anything that holds the walls. 2. For there pool: There seems to be no drainage for the water. If it gets dirty, you will have a looong time getting it out just with buckets alone. And that could get dirty in mere weeks. 3. Also for underground: what about heavy rain?

I am wondering if you realize these "homes" are not made to be long-term, sustainable, places to live! This is basically what they do to make AMAZING videos! And what they do is NOTHING less then BRILLIANT and MASSIVELY hard to accomplish! But they do not actually LIVE in them! They allow the earth to reclaim the area and build the next amazing dwelling! This is why they only use and leave behind the things that are naturally found there. That's another reason I love what they do! They are not wastefully harming the planet. The earth will swallow that right back up! 😉👌🔥👏👏👏👏

There are hundreds of these 'structures' in a small forest in Cambodia, they make one, then move 50 feet away, make another, repeat. The water becomes stagnant and infested within 1 month, these structures are made purely for youtube money. There are several 'exposed' videos about these types of channels. They use cement, spray paint, and they use engines to pump water (the nearest source of water is over 6km away. The forest is littered with trash, beer cans, cement bags, spray paint cans etc... looks up "Primitive tools / Survival builders ... the carnage left behind (exposed)"
