Round the long edge of a 2x4 and then staple some sand paper to it, works good for getting in between the grooves. Good video.

As someone who sprays bed liners for a living, this genuinely interested me. Although we regularly repair and respray a bunch of DIY jobs at my shop, I always wondered if they would last longer if applied correctly. Yours looks great. How is it holding up?
@TheAngryHoneyBadger3 жыл бұрын
So far its held up fine. Only thing I would suggest or might do in the future is spray on a few more layers. Other than that for the hauling i've done its been good.

According to the manufacturer, one coat of Raptor results in a 7-10 mil thickness. So to achieve a measly 1/16 inch thickness you would need 6 to 9 coats. Given 1/2 coat per bottle you would need around 15 bottles of this stuff to achieve that 1/16 inch thickness.

Is the overspray bad with this product, did you find it on the walls, tools ?
@TheAngryHoneyBadger4 жыл бұрын
Yeah I found some overspray in a few places but not horrible. Just depends on how wild you get while spraying.

Great result...!! but i only see videos about the visible the upper part or vivible parts .... what is the best preventive rust traitment for under the car ? Simply spraying liquid rubber ?
@DarkLinkAD3 жыл бұрын
Used motor oil. A leaky transmission, a rear diff that like to vent fluid over 85mph etc.. This is the only legit preventative.

How long does it need to cure? Is it something I can start on Saturday and have it ready for work on Monday, thanks!

I believe it said around 24-48 hours to cure for light duty use. The full curing time was a week for heavier loads.

Is it recommended to do this with a 6 gal compressor or will a 3 gal compressor work fine for this job?
@JosepGee4 жыл бұрын
What kind of compressor or cfm would you need for the sprayer ?
@TheAngryHoneyBadger4 жыл бұрын
I used a 10 gal air compressor. Something like this - amzn.to/3ePI2eT Just needs to be able to shoot at around 50-80PSi which isn't very high.
