I think it would look cool to use the black raptor liner to highlight some of the accessories like the grill, inner fenderwells, mirrors, bumpers etc. Kind of break up the green but still have the same texture throughout. You have a good aesthetic so you will find a cool look for sure.

With my experience with raptor you really have to shake it up for the gun that comes in the kit to spray well, also spray from far shoot the last 1/2 bottle at about 70 psi and from 5feet away to get a great texture. Also drug the corner of a car battery on it and not much happened 🙂

Well done as this is cheaper than going to the lining business to install the bed liner. Don't forget to install a bed mat to protect the bed in a deeper level.
@plus7904 жыл бұрын
Should kill 2 birds with one stone. Spray a matte black panel over most of the hood to 1) get rid of the lines, and 2) create an anti-glare surface like many Ford Raptors have. This is particularly useful if you intend to install roof lighting. Could even get some "TOYOTA" or some other stickers to mask off green accent areas. Could even add a little matte black flavor to the bed sides too.
@zackscott86363 жыл бұрын
when painting over a ‘toyota sticker’ would you just pull the sticker off before the 2 coats cure?

Great build you got going on. I'm a big fan of Raptor. I did a Jeep Commander with the Vari-Nozzle gun this past July, and love it. 50 psi two turns out, and got a nice sandpaper like finish. I picked up a 99 Tacoma last year that I've been working on, and can't wait to Raptor it next year. It's green so it'll be green with a black bed like yours. Looking forward to seeing yours back together. Bed looks good black.
