at 0:18 you don't have to disable the traps.... disabling trap drains your thieving level -1. you can just click on the trapless gap between the 2 plates as they won't be triggered if you run over only 1. same thing if there are like 4 wall traps in a row you disable only 3 of those and run over last one. I got 63 thieving and in the end I had 50 thieving because I did the right way. I explained badly but there are very good tutorials for there on youtube

There is a really good guide done by Lelador. you dont have to disable most of the traps. so your thieving level isnt reduced as much. and since the chance at the end is based off your thieving level this helps

Pro tip, A Friend: You don't have to Right click -> Search the floor traps. If you stand on the tile just before it and run to the tile on the opposite side, you will not trigger the trap.

You'll be just fine at low levels. I got the full set a few weeks back at 53 thieving and 58 agility. I couldn't use the shortcut so each run took about 8-10 minutes, but I got the full set in about 20-25 runs.

Protip. You can skip floor traps by standing immediately next to them, and then running exactly to the other side. You can actually skip up to 3 in a row this way. So A Friend was disarming too many and losing a lot of levels this way.
