Because teammates always try to push the third point when the best strategy is to hold two and make sure not to flip the spawn. When you push the third point you flip the spawn and the opponents easily cap the one they spawn next to. No offense but you might be the perfect example of the reason why he dislikes that mode. You could be a crazy good slayer, but if you constantly push the third and flip the spawn it makes Strongholds frustrating to play.

Aim assist is fine for controller players, I'm a mouse player, mouse players have a massive plane to work on to be able to aim, whereas controllers have a tiny toggle for the same movement.
