I highly recommend the gim route, its such a great way to play the game. All of the ironman, but your team can have an herblore lead, a crafting lead, a slayer lead etc. so by the time slayer lead has whips and tridents, you also have the potions and jewelry you need to do all the pvm you like and with people to do it with.
