A simple meme account talking and interacting with other players eventually snowballing into giving away billions of gp, hosting one of the biggest unofficial events in runescape history, turning random kind players into massive celebrities, and making the weeks of thousands of people. Hearing you drop the names of the prehistoric runescape youtubers that came before you just made me realize how despite you're a fine youtuber yourself, you're just another guy who fanboyed over them just as much as I did back in the day. Sadly I can only express my words of gratitude in text as I live bill to bill, but a massive thank you to everyone who was involved in this. I wasn't prepared for just how beautiful this would be. It's so rare these days on OSRS to just go off on random dumb adventures with other players and stand around doing nothing meaningful, but the times it happens truly stick out. I remember a few years ago after a holiday event with a friend finding and following a random player and taking a gold ring to the volcano on Karamja, and the child-like imaginative make-believe of our journey around Gielinor was just pure nostalgia :')

The effort and quality of this channel is and has been insane for a long while and the best part is, it seems you haven't reached your limit yet. You made me tear up several times so far and even though I'm not that big into Runescape, I watch most of your videos. This one is my favourite by far so far.

The outro really hit it home for me, and you moved a grown man to tears. The game itself has evolved into the great state at which it's in. Though that nostalgic factor yearning for what it once was is in the back of the mind for any veteran player. It's a bittersweet feeling, the pure chaotic fun we used to once have forever lost. Thank you for the trip down memory lane

Definitely the most wholesome story in all of Runescape history. Wish I could'a joined in, but my Membership was cut for financial reasons, but it was super awesome to see all the best moments here! Been a quiet participant in this community for about a year or so now, but I just want to say that this is easily one of the best MMO communities I've been a part of.

Once again Jimmy thank you so much for hosting this event. It felt so good to experience some of the my best times as a kid being social in this game and just messing around having fun with friends. You made my week with the parties and events and it was sick to see my character in this video too dancing at the party! Thank you so much I feel blessed this was so much fun.

Honestly, this is probably the coolest thing anyone has done in this game for the community. The absolute old school dream.

I recently came back to OSRS, and I can't believe I missed this amazing event by just a couple months. What I would have given to be a part of something so magical. I got emotional by the end. Thanks for bringing the community together, J1mmy.

any iron men that are bummed about not being able to visit gary gilbert in the flesh, we are having an ironman powwow outside the poh portal in the same world!

ironmen should at least be able to visit other player's houses, and just make it so we can't interact with certain stuff

@@Channel-io4xu Unfortunately they've said that the construction code is so fragile they don't want to do something like that out of fear that will cause another Falador Massacre, or worse

@@b3stnoobever Sucks to hear but understandable, I'd be afraid of messing with runescape spaghetti too much myself given all the weird iconic glitches.
@b3stnoobever8 ай бұрын
@@yarigumo8798 Yeah the PoH in general can break the game entirely if it's messed with too much. And like you said, a lot of the weird iconic glitches just so happen to have the PoH involved. In fact, pretty sure the current big pvp animation stall glitch is caused by putting leagues gear in a PoH.

I was still recovering from burnout from Leagues and doing a quest grind so I wasn't playing at the time, but seeing this takes me back to when I was a kid joining house parties all afternoon. It's so cool seeing the community come together for something like this.
