Craig, does the 40 degree angle correspond to the shoulder or lead arm angle or should they be the same?
@CraigHansonGolf Жыл бұрын
it’s the shoulder. But the lead arm should be close to that 40 degrees

So much emphasis on left hand grip and flat wrist on all these lessons when it's the right arm grip, wrist and elbow that maintains swing plane, cocks the club and releases the clubhead. Basically your strong side does all the work and left side just holds the arc.. Until I started focusing on that my swing has improved dramatically.. and I've been playing for over 25 years

Yes but your only thinking about what works for you abs you’ve been playing for 25 years. Most people slice a s flip and come in steep. It’s more for the masses of the people out there. I’ve filmed 40,000 swings in slow motion all over the world. THIS swing is easier to repeat for 90% of golfers

@@CraigHansonGolf If 90% of golfers realize it's the right wrist cocking and holding (dominant side) that locks your left wrist flat.. 100% wouldn't need lessons.

Hi Craig; this has nothing to do with angles in this video but is something else I noticed while seeing the tour players positions at the top. None of them have a bowed wrist as is what instructors are teaching today, likely because of DJ's wrist . All of their wrists are flat & are obviously great ball strikers. Would you care to comment on this? Thanks.

The video is about the a flat left wrist, a great shoulder plane and a lower lead arm. Creating a super solid powerful position. 95% of Amateurs have flat shoulder plane a cupped wrists. I don’t think deliberately bowing the wrist works for many people at all

Nice video Craig. I have to say you've got some big old shoulders on you son. You look like you'd be tasty in a scrap 💪
