I've been looking for key date coins and errors.. I have already found a 1955 DDO and a DDR.. Not sure what the DDR is worth yet.. And yesterday I found a 1956 D over shadow D.. But the D on mine is more to the right, Does this make it more rare? So far I'm loving finding all the errors I have already..keep up the good work..

my collection is just old things. my main focus is coinage but i love other antiques. I have old books, old buttons, a few old newspapers, old military objects, and, as an eagle scout myself, i have some old boy scout stuff. My highlights are a 1926 BSA journal with all kinds of old papers, maps, and photos that the original owner folded up and put in the back. I laminated it all as everything is very fragile. My other highlights are my 1672 book, an 1827 newspaper page, a civil war button, a WW1 cloth american overseas cap, A WW2 french gas mask, 2 1800s photos, and I have a few familial antiques

The Indian Head Cent is actually Lady Liberty with an "Indian" headress. Maybe we can call it a Headressed Liberty Cent. The IHC was 88% copper and 12% nickel (aka cupronickel) from 1859 to 1864. After that, it was 95% copper and 5% tin with some zinc. The 1859 to 1864 were called "nickels" until the nickel 5 cents appeared in 1866, after which they were called "white cents". The bronze cents after 1864 were called "red cents".

Thats a pretty good, varied and interesting grab bag. You are quite right about getting stuff that you would never buy as a stand alone item, but once you have it you are pleased to own it. Such as the portable scales for instance. The first edition cent pieces are cool, especially that 2 cent coin. The other great thing about that grab bag is the gift opportunities. Like giving the stamps to your father: great idea and nice gifts. So even if it doesn't float your boat, it gives you ready to give gifts. Keep up the grab bag videos. 🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸

When I buy a coin grab bag I would like to have a little bit more coinage in it than was in this particular grab bag. However, still some good stuff in there.
