It's a bug. Try using the PLP project file I provided in the description.

It's a bug in the app. If you're using android 10 and above, the emboss causes a problem. Sadly the developers of PixelLab haven't fixed the problem yet. But you can use this PLP template I provided. You don't have to create the text effect or do the emboss. I've already done everything for you. First, extract the PLP file from the zip folder. Open PixelLab, in the projects menu tap at the [.PLP] button at the top, then locate the PLP file you extracted and tap on it. It'll open up in PixelLab.
