First two versions of these literally changed my music taste forever. Love your content

Dude, when you dropped the first video 5 years ago you introduced me to “acolyte” by slaughter beach, dog. You singlehandedly shaped my 15 year old brain and it’s been with me for every big or small moment since. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!! Know I’ll find some new favs here too.

Back when I was 15, your first two top 100 videos shaped my taste and showed me that music could be a lot more interesting than weird al, hamilton, and various pop hits I grew up with. Awesome to see a new one all these years later, and proud to say I walked away with 8 new songs on my playlist after the first watch. You are not alone in your love of a good beat; a unique, expressive vocalist; and a strong melody. You're doing god's work. Can't wait for part 2!!!

was just thinking about your original videos the other day, hoping you had made another one. this was the best surprise when i jumped onto your channel. your original videos helped shape my music taste as a young 20 year old. thank you for your service.

I remember discovering your channel a few months after your first 100 songs video came out and it heavily inspired and enamored me with so much new music. Your videos have helped me explore and discover so much about music and I'm grateful I found them when I did.

I don’t mean this in a disrespectful way because I still do like this content, but he just does not have any sort of pull to collab with them. He can’t hit more than 20k views consistently, and hivemind is collabing with increasingly more popular internet people. Plus, I really don’t think they would have any chemistry at all. The only thing they have in common is they talk about music

Man I loved those first videos a ton would watch them many times, you have such a nice passionate way of discussing music you enjoy and through the vast array of different artists and genres it always feels like we're going on a great musical journey Also Adrianne Lenker's Anything is just a beautiful choice, impeccable taste. Song so raw and gorgeous it brings a tear to my eye just hearing it mentioned Also as a Metalhead seeing that the Metal-discovery-journey has brought you to Ghost definitely fills my soul with joy

Love the Delegation and Bobby Caldwell picks. I'm curious if you've heard the Isaac Hayes Version of "(They Long to Be) Close to You)" as that's always been my favorite version of the song. Great video, looking forward to pt. 2

Omg if you like prog rock mixed with your metal, please check out Opeth they are easily my favorite band ever. Specifically the album Damnation, it’s a really pretty soft rock album they made in the middle of this insane run of absolutely wild, groundbreaking progressive death metal projects and Damnation is one of the softest and most somber things I’ve ever heard. Great list too!
