I used to listen to Happy Hardcore when I was a kid, and it reminds me of that in places a bit, but is more interesting and better produced than that, with good influences. I understand what they're trying to do. There was actually a band 50 years ago that were doing a similar thing to what they are doing, with the music of the time, called The Residents. They're possibly the most genius band there's been. You'll think they sound terrible when you 1st hear them, but is the most clever, insightful music when you know it all. They created shit-posting and meme music years before it became a thing. This is their 1st album that was also done without any computers. They are still going now, but you don't want to hear any of their newer stuff, cuz it's rubbish, and the main composer died a couple of years ago as well.
