I only got through surgery because they let me keep my hair tie 😅 I don't know what to do if I'm not fiddling! Edit: Obviously they knocked me the fuck out for the actual surgery, but they made me strip down to a very revealing hospital gown (I'm very tall) and uhhh I was obviously feeling very awkward and nervous so the hair tie helped. It was my first time going under 😵 They had to double dose me cuz I wouldn't go down. It was crazy! Everyone sounded like robots underwater and it's like I was hearing everything 4 times, just very slightly delayed. Crazy lol.
