Green signboard riverside stall has good orh jian and light/dark ckt too - if sweet ckt too jelak, light Penang ckt would refresh your palate. And the cilantros are only for orh Jian and orh neng.. but shallots mixed in during lard rendering makes the lard bits and menu items wonderful

Lau Goh carrot cake used to be at people s park . I remember eating it there many years back, maybe 20 plus yrs ago. It was famous then too. The radish has a delicious n distinct taste.

@@ZermattNeo Many things bro. Many gatekept stalls within Amk residents also haha. Most famous are the LorMee and BKT stalls. Followed by the fish soup, mee rebus, duck rice, kway chap, meesiam stalls. Many are old school taste. Theres also the wanton mee, carrot cake, chicken rice, claypot and banmian stalls which are not bad. Then end of with the traditional dessert stall haha

The green signboard riverside stall can fight too - even if the Hokkien fried prawn mee is not so good, their light/dark ckt and orh jian are marvellous too as the stall’s lard has shallots mixed in during rendering/frying with no other oils found in the stall
