I have a 2019 812 delivered one year ago in the same exterior spec. Paint was horrid as delivered from Ferrari. I didn’t let the dealer touch it. I had my Detailer correct, wrap and ceramic coat the entire car. Night and day difference. I have to say though I don’t think I’d have the guts to let someone sand it!

That is very impressive. I have one question - you are removing clear coat and an insignificant % as you mentioned, how many times can you detail a car without starting to introduce possible paint problems?
@TopazDetailing4 жыл бұрын
This car has PPF all over the body now, so it shouldn’t need machine polished again. However, without film the can still be machine polished as many times as any car would expect to be in its lifetime
@mogsyman4 жыл бұрын
Topaz Detailing Thanks for the reply 👍 I guess it’s also down to sympathetic washing once the job is done to ensure you make the most of the process and extend the lifespan of a perfect finish. I use foam, clean cloths, two buckets and a DI vessel to final rinse which seems to help minimise swirls on my 12 month old M5. That said the paintwork still has more orange peel that Hartley’s but at least not many swirls!
@ItsRyan.4 жыл бұрын

Stunning end result.....sorry if this has already been answered but just wondering if the sanding stages were necessary on this paint?
