Bug Hunter I think is one of the standout games in terms of design but it is really short. It's the kind of game if released as a boxed board game would win all sorts of awards.

Camouflage has a great concept and I enjoyed it but I do think there aren't enough mechanics/hazards and they could have done more with the collectibles. There was one level where I had to route the collectibles in a specific order because you couldn't get an orange with a lizard friend in tow, and while that was cool I never had to think that way again.

My daughter loves this game and playing it together was awesome. I can think of at least two spots where I either HAD to get the lizard first or couldn’t get it first. But maybe I didn’t think hard enough. Music is also awesome but I wish there was more of it!

I think after the first time I had to get the lizard last, I updated my strategy to "get all the collectibles you can before getting the lizard," and that ended up meaning I didn't have to think about those kinds of nuances anymore. I'm glad you two had fun!

I like the concept and mechanics, I just think it ends too soon. It feels like there should be some much longer harder levels waiting but it just kinda ends before that section happens. I also remember the last level being a big step down in difficulty for some reason.

i love that just about everyone has a different game they gravitate towards that they wish had its own full on version. I, for some reason, don't like Golfaria that much despite everyone loving it and putting it in S-tier. I absolutely loved Night Manor and it was the first game I got a cherry and trophy on. I really like Camoflauge and Valbrace, and [Cowboy Final Fantasy].

The funny part about the shmups here is that they're actually significantly easier than their contemporaries. If Caramel Caramel and Elphesar's Hat are too much for you, please never play Parodius or Pocky and Rocky lol

Combatants was my first cherry. The key is to HOLD your army in a clump, then agro the enemy in one at a time. Also, some maps have spiders. Lure the spiders into your opponents area. The spiders can sometimes clear a map on their own.

​@connerallen934 Definitely. You can't beat the game without knowing how to stick enemy workers around a corner, make an enemy soldier shoot continuously in the wrong direction, or spider kiting. Once you know those three, only like one or two levels is still ridiculously unfair. Luckily you get infinite restarts.

Valbrace I feel is the one that really needs to be an original game and if you like that style definitely check out Fight Knight which is a first person dungeon crawler with first person atatatatatata punching combat like Neo Geo's The Super Spy.

Honestly I've actually enjoyed Planet Zoldath a lot from what I've played of it. It's not super demanding in terms of skill or puzzles but I enjoy the atmosphere and the way you have to figure out how everything is supposed to work each run. There's also a lot of surprising interactions between the different abilities.

Hey if you still need help, the best advice I can offer is this: make soldiers DURING the waves. From about wave 3 and onwards you get so much meat during the actual waves that it all gets wasted considering your cave gives you +80 meat at every round’s end. So as you’re fighting dinos, make sure to keep an eye on the meat counter and drop down an appropriate soldier nearby. Or if it starts to get too stressful deciding on the spot, drop some campfires and chickens down so you can decide later!

I have found myself completely addicted to Pilot Quest so far, but I can't find how to make silk production go faster. As for everything else, I am find all the games very difficult. I missed the NES generation myself (was playing the Commodore 64 instead) so I am not really used to "NES hard" A lot more practice / perseverance is required on my part.

Position it over enemies, press A (I use xinput controller) and it will freeze any enemy that is inside the photo frame. If you kill them while frozen, it will give you more points than usual.
