Have you heard of the 100 day project?
Back in 2021 I decided to have a go, with the overall idea to create or work on something every day for 100 days. I chose to work 1 hour of stitching on a languishing cross stitch project in the hopes of completing it. To my surprirse, I completed the first project and immediately moved onto another.
The first project is an old kit I purchased from eBay for my dad, with the intention for him to do it, but knowing that I would end up stitching it instead. I started it in 2011 and over the years made considerable progress, with just the tiger to complete but hadn't done any for quite some time. This took 23 hours to finish.
The second project is a Dimensions kit of 'The Samurai' which my aunt had started prior to 2011. I had only made a little progress before working on it during my first 100 day stint and after 77 hours, the project is now half finished.
I will be continuing to work on 'The Samurai' in a second 100 day project attempt of which I hope it will finally be finished by the end of it.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing the progress made on these 2 projects in a little more detail and I look forward to continuing.
Thanks for watching, I'd love to hear if you have any long languishing WIPs like these and whether they might benefit from completing the 100 day challenge. Remember if you liked this content, please like and subscribe to help me reach new people like yourselves :)
