Years ago I pulled something in my back doing leg squats with a barbell like that. Didn't know it until hours later and boy was it paralyzing. Now when I see people put that much stress on their spine I cringe. Be careful out there.
@Richard-xg1vv2 ай бұрын
That's actually pretty good Jack, you don't see many Olympic lifters around anymore, it's pretty hard and not a lot of glory or recognition one can get out of Olympic lifting plus it's just to difficult. I believe it's the hardest of the three . . . Olympic lifting, bodybuilding and powerlifting. Some say all technique or form . . . ha ha ha . . . yeah sure ! You're not weak and only rely on 'style' to snatch 220, so anyone saying that obviously don't know what they're talking about.
@bjornhartmann683926 күн бұрын
+@Richard-xg1vv Thank god we dont see this olympic lifting very often anymore, because its basically just ancient ego lifting. If you cant lift the weight slowly and controlled without bending your spine and using tons of momentum, you should put down some weight. Simple as.
@thomaspankrats937626 күн бұрын
@@bjornhartmann6839 Are you being sarcastic? If not, could you tell me how long you have been training for and where you learned about weight training? I'm curious because I have been seeing this mentality more and more over the years.
@bjornhartmann683926 күн бұрын
@@thomaspankrats9376 You've seen this mentallity more and more over the years because its the truth. Olympic weightlifting is essentially ego lifting and its only respected because it stems from ancient times.

@@bjornhartmann6839Oly lifting is adopted in many sports as it is practical and functional training for athletes who actually move their body. But you don’t need it cuz you have blind faith in what fiTNesS influencers say and put your everything to grow your muscles that will never be used😂
