Banana Fish's first opening by Survive Said the Prophet should have def been on there (I think it was on a previous version but it still deserves a spot in the updated version). It's such a great song; I rarely listen to anime songs outside of during the actual opening but that song is on multiple playlists.

I've been watching anime for 25 years and the top for me are neon genesis evangelion, monogatari, gintama, stein's gate etc etc. Everyone has to try gintama no matter the situation!!!

Gintama I need to look up. I've heard that one around but never seen a whole lot about it. I've only seen the Neon Genesis movies but they kinda slammed. Thanks for sharing your 25 years worth of experience with us. We need all the help we can get when finding dope new anime to watch!

I only say this cause it's this compilation but Hamatora is actually rlly good. Don't see it much elsewhere but mega underrated and fun characters and twists

Yu Yu Hakusho is still one of my top favorite anime series. I prefer the English dub because the banter is great between the characters.

I wouldn't call it a top of all time it's thier personal top favorites and it's a good list but he leaves out a few 2 many ops because he doesn't like them as an example he doesn't have DGF op in that list because he said it's just OK in his opinion. And that's completely fine but then it's just an option based list mostly because DGFs op is like statistically a top 10 Op of all time if you take the views/streams of the op into account.

@@The_CodFish69 I mean, every "top anime openings" is in some way personal favourite or biased, even the "top streamed" ones we don't know how got calculated and probably take into consideration only spotify or other streaming platforms while there is also fact this is very recent, does not have an enormous amount of older music on it and a lot of it is region locked or gets deleted and reuploded. So it is kind of given that no list ever would be the absolute "top of all time" as a lot of openings do not even get a chance as they are not avaible to be streamed but still are very popular (One Piece's "we are" or "we go" or all of the Namie Amuro songs for example are not avaible on spotify at least in my country, all digimon openings also do not exist in the streaming services as the singer passed away quite a long time ago) and there also are people who listen to anime openings not knowing they are anime openings at all, just spotify thrown them in recommended, so no list ever would be actually a true unbiased "top of all time", so we should just enjoy those list for what they are - fun little lists of music to maybe look at someone else's taste and learn about the existance of a new show to watch/music to listen ^^

@@tsubasahaneno o ya i completely get that it’s his personal list after all I’m not hating on his list I actually think it’s good. But because it is a personal list instead of a top list ( even though both are still biased ) at least you can be somewhat objective and just because you some what dislike something you still have to give it a fair shot. Like my example DGF op sure the show is a dumpster fire but like it or not the OP is just objectively one of the best of all time and it has the stats to back that up if you use things like KZbin, KZbin music and Spotify numbers as measurement of his popularity.

I don't watch a ton of anime. But you're clearly open to many genres of media. Could you cover (if you have pls let me know) Death Parade (OST: Flyers. My favorite ever) My Happy Marriage, or Forest of Piano (aka Piano No Mori)? They don't get enough love as animes

I'm not sure what kind of music you guys are into, but based on your opening, something heavy? In which case, the full opening to _Detroit Metal City_ is a must-watch! For some weird reason, the opening doesn't seem to be on KZbin, so here it is spliced together with additional footage set to the full version of the opening theme, it's close enough: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b5aun2Wibdqne6M The series itself is a comedy about an up-and-coming young singer, who dreams of a career singing sappy love songs, but somehow ends up as the lead vocalist for a death metal band. @@TheHeckOfficial It's a pretty damned funny series, I'd recommend it to metal-heads! If you do see it, and you're keen for a copy of the soundtrack, there actually isn't one. It re-uses the soundtrack from the DMC live-action movie, so you'll want to grab that. That's where you can find gems such as "Fuckingham" a song about what the queen possibly gets up to in her palace!

None of the Kaguya-Sama OPs? HOW? (Shonen Bias, probably) also, they should have included the main series Madoka Magica OP and if it was me, i also would have added one of the two Nichijou OPs

The video itself is pretty old so I think Kaguyua-sama did not exist yet when this list was made (it's a little harder to tell because it resurfaces now, after quite a few years 😅)

@@tsubasahaneno so, you made me check and yeah, you are indeed correct. the latest one (i know) here shown is from 2017, while kaguya released 2019. very well noticed ^^ (still doesnt excuse PMMM not being here, it was very influential and due to how it played into the story also has quite the legendary status)

@@misan7690 I used to watch top anime opening videos a lot to find new anime to watch or songs to listen to back 10-15 years ago and I vaguely remembered this particular top video while I knew for a fact Kaguya came out when I wasn't as up to date with new anime anymore so that's the only reason I noticed 😆 (Absolutely agreed with PMMM and Nichijou though, I myself would also add a lot more series openings that were popular back in the day 😆)

@@misan7690 Nah, you are right to not like Kaguya Op1 at least to be one here. Fire Force Op 1 came out in July 2019 and Kaguya Op 1 came out in January 2019 so they just didnt put it onto the list.

Underrated openings that i missed: - Soul Eater OP 1 - Shingeki no Bahamut Seaon 1 OP1 - To Aru Majutsu No Index Season 2 OP1 ... also, why isnt the first Pokemon OP in this list... besides Cowboy Bebop it cant get any more legandary than that

Tbh, they said at the start that dub openings werent included and Pokemon's JP opening isn't nearly as iconic for most people outside JP watchers.

Si alguien puede pasarte un video con el orden correcto de openings de Fate,tendrias un video largo.Es una franquicia con ops/eds exelentes,aunque tambien bastante variados y muchas veces es confuso el orden para ver.Pero si puedes reaccionar a algunos seria genial.Ya ver la saga principal(Zero,UBW y Heaven's Feel) seria una locura pues es una obra magnifica aunque de un tono bastante serio,con dialogos y accion de calidad a partes iguales.

@aliffaiman614 Inuyasha is an anime in the early 2000s. And was world famous for a while for the quality of it. And I want to say got a few awards. There first opening was called change the world. Hope that helps a bit.
