I think ur starting issues is with the low pressure oil pump located behind the harmonic balancer... also I'm not sure if u did the high pressure oil pump but in my opinion u should if not done yet

I upgraded my 00 7.3 with Riffraff frx crossover and then their fuel supply lines to the bowl which also deletes the check valves, then I changed out all 4 banjo bolts to the larger black ones, I used the gold spring in the frx kit. It was WAY better throttle response, better acceleration. I am super pleased with all of it. I also have better fuel mileage now

I commented the problem with the trans on the Cummins video. Governor pressure solenoid and transducer is the issue with it starting in the wrong gear. Got parts off XDP and solved my problem. The oem parts are made cheap and plastic so they’re known to break

I have a 7.3 and I’m like 6ft tall and usually I sit pretty far back but not in my truck idk what it is but being close to the steering wheel is the only comfortable way 😂 knees basically touch the dash

I had talked myself out of getting the banjo bolts and CVD fittings but had already ordered the fuel pressure spring kit from another vendor. Watching this video made me buy the other parts before I finish my turbo & pedestal swap. 😅

For the ram I would say keep it low and make it fast. Maybe not 1000hp fast go for around 800hp and just clean it up and make it look good.

Completely different truck but I have a 97 12 valve that can't get out of it's own way and my throttle response isn't really there. 235k mile motor but after watching this I gotta look into that. I was thinking a pedal monster like you've installed before but I feel the cheaper route would be best to do first.

Yeah that stock deadhead fuel system on the 7.3s and 6.0s is real dog shit but you can also look into re-shiming the poppit valves from .004 to .003 clearance. Most likely those are probably split shot injectors (pilot injection) and hopefully if they are, whoever installed them knew cylinder 8 doesn't get same type injector as other 7 due to last in line to get fuel
