If youre going to weld you need to remove the paint from area youre welding and remove the E coat from patch panels to get cleaner welds

My 20 model with 110k miles on 1/19/25 got a miss in the motor doing 55/60 mpg.. I was trying to pull over in traffic but I didn't make it. Engine locked up after it puked 3 gallon of oil out of the crankcase filter. All this happened within 300ft. Not got the engine apart yet to see the damage. I have went ahead and got a replacement engine waiting tho.

I feared trouble on my 2018 RAM 2500. It had a ABS system replaced after failure, under warranty yea. It failed again in a year, under warranty. They replaced it in a week, well, tried. As he attached power to it, it burned up something and we need to order another whole system and they are on bsck order. After 8 months and no idea when, i traded for a 2023 longhorn 1500. As I was signing paoers the servuce mamager came to tell me the ABS was in. I said its his. I cant imagine making repairs to the diesel out of pocket. I took a beating, just did it anyway. Fantastic duesel, shame stellantis ruined RAM.

Great video, I followed most of this, the feather coat is crucial to an excellent uniform finish. TIP - on the sanding prep, get a nylon bristle brush to add to your speed drill. Your surface scuff time will be cut waaaaaay down vs a palm sander.
