Merry Christmas bro!, I own a 98 polaris sportsman 500, it's a alright quad it weighs 750 pounds and the brakes never work, your arms are noodles after riding for more than 1 hour Lol. Pretty okay power tho. Never had a single problem with the engine, anyway great vid definitely gonna have to keep that scrambler and ride it 😂 weirdest looking quad I've ever seen lol happy holidays !!

These get a lot of hate and laughs from people with no clue about them. With the right mods these are very fast in a straight line. By very fast I mean they will beat the R and banshee you have easily. Simple kits like the powermaxx have these dyno at over 85hp. Im looking at the sheets now. These quads actually won atv nationals back in the day vs 250rs ect. They were custom frames and they changed the rules so they couldn't compete anymore. I had a 00 400 2x4 that was what they called the sport then. Stock frame ect i was jumping stuff on the track not many guys would. I also won on it before. Ive had 2 built 250rs a built banshee multiple 450s honda and yam including a national bike from a previous champion. These things rip dont let the people on Facebook that have never been around them tell you differently.

@garagemcmatt it wasn't built to be a motocross machine. But for what you do it would suite your needs fine. Ill say they did have some not desirable points but what quad was ever perfect? For a trail and straight line its hard to beat one.

The scrambler 400 and 500 were a pile of crap! I smoked both machines with my 400ex I didn't even have to try .once you hit 3rd with a 400ex you just walk away from those scramblers. If you mod the 400 scrambler the trans can't take it .

@@Daddy-o-v2y ive had well over a dozen 400ex and unless you raced a stock worn out scrambler that never happened. 400ex is what 27hp stock? I love them but they don't stand a chance to a scrambler 400 in a drag race.
