i got the 52v and have to say best 2k spent on an ebike. Yes the controller is buggy but I told them and they assure me they are weeks away from resolving the issue and will send out a new controller when they do. I would suggest any others who are dealing with same issue to contact aniioki so they will stay on it. They are a responsive company, more so than the american resellers of chinese bikes here in the states because you are talking to the actual company that is making the bike and not just a private label reseller.

How is there English when you need to talk to them either by chat or phone? (I am very worried about future support from a company based only out of China,) that should be obvious to people but sadly many people never consider to think about it,

I’m done with Aniioki as a company. When my bike first arrived, my headlight did not work at all. I contacted them and they send me a new controller. Got the new controller and the headlight now worked. After the first ride, my headlight would NOT turn off even when the bike was off! The headlight button wouldn’t work at all to turn off. I literally couldn’t turn the headlight or tail light off until I took out the battery completely. That means even with the bike completely off, your lights would stay on no matter what (unless battery was removed). I sent them 3 emails over the course of a WEEK about this issue and now all of a sudden I didn’t get ONE response from them. This leads me to believe that they KNOW this is an issue they don’t know how to fix. Very disappointed! UPDATE: they emailed me not too long after I made this comment. They know about this issue and they are trying to figure it out. They are compensating me and keeping me updated. Kind of sucks but I appreciate that they are at least trying.

Sad, but kind of funny in a way, obviously there is some early kinks and bugs being worked out in this first phase of this model, (hopefully most of the bigger issues is resolved in the first 6 months of production and the first 100 to 500 purchases with real world use cases) but who know's , right? but so far only this company and WildeWay strike me as reliable enough to gamble 2,000 on a product like this as early beta users give us feedback slowly here on KZbin,

Funny you said that around 4:50 about people riding like douche bags! Lol. I like in Rockaways NYC and do a lot of ebiking on the boardwalk. I always ride RESPECTFULLY But I’ve found many people riding on Ebikes scooters , etc racing doing 25-30+ mph zipping in and out of pedestrians. Guess what? I noticed now that there’s new sign that say E-Bikes, scooters, any motorized device are not allowed!!! So they ruined it for the good guys ! Now it’s possible that it’s there so if police encounter said douche bags they can issue a summons, but if they see the rider is being safe and compliant that they won’t bother you. I’m hoping that’s the case!
@LuftmaxEbikes-cn7ei Жыл бұрын
Amen to that. It seems to be the case with police that you won't be bothered if you are following rules and not being careless/reckless. Unfortunately most who behave might actually not ride anymore due to the sign. And definitely those who are careless will not heed the sign. Tricky
@jakereal3604 Жыл бұрын
That’s true! The dirtbags will never follow rules and do as they please. I’m hoping it’s only enforced for those that need to be stopped. This Aniioki AQ177 pro max (white) is my second Ebike. I have an Ecotric 26” fat tire 36v 500 W blue rims. That’s a blast to ride and it’s all pimped out lol. With speed limit set to max it WILL do 24-26 MPH. WHEN fully charged she’ll get up to even a tick over 26 like 27 on flat ground but as bat goes down it won’t do more then like 23.5-24 on throttle only. I put an 11-28 freewheel and I can get that beast up to 28-30 if I put some effort. For entry level bike it’s awesome !! Also added pair blue tooth speakers, dual headlights , signals, very bright taillights and get this ….. super bright LED Brake lights that get their signal off the brake cut off switches !! I also made it long range by adding a 20AH battery to the rear rack. There’s a toggle to go from one battery to the other right under seat post. This set up gives me 60 miles minimum that’s using mostly PAS 5 with mod pedaling. I’ve gotten as much as 85 miles with both batteries! I bought the Aniioki aq177 pro max (White). It’s torquey for sure. Haven’t rode it much as it came with controller switch broken. The - part is cracked off so I can’t lower pas settings once I increase them. A new switch just came. I intend on swapping them out tomorrow and finally trying it out. Looks awesome like a moped! Dual suspension rides pretty nice though only went like 6-8 miles so aren’t that familiar with it as yet. My Ecotric I bought last year and it has 1645 miles. Love riding it and even went from Rockaways Queens to Central Park then down town n back home. 60 miles round trip!! Be safe bro!

You should ask yourelf, what does 60AMP verions of an Ebike, do that other models can't do, that are important to you? On a scale of quality for the componenets, I'ts maybe a 6 t 7 in terms of qulity over all, but the range, might be enough to make up for all of that but only if your sure you'll benefit from it, Note: As you size and weight, the bigger battery might be the deciding factor, I'm going to say your probably going to get at most even with this model, about 50 miles doing on average 25MPH on full throttle only, hopefully until about 95% of the battery, (some reviews I've watched show that when you get down to half a bar left, you won't be getting speeds much over 15 MPH, maybe only 7 to 8 MPH, You also need to look into there other model I think because at your height, this model I don't think has an adjustable seat for it's height, (but you should double check that) (you can also upgrade the tires as well to give you a taller bike if that's a concern, and if it's not, it should be)

The steep hill featured in my vid is about 63% the steepness of the steepest grade in the world, so it's probably not that far off from your hills. I am not surprised as your mid drive will harness its power better/more optimally than a hub drive with its transmission technique. You can pedal to help the hubs which would certainly help. There are other ebikes with specs that would satiate your cravings. Check out the Bandit X-Trail Pro
@jakereal3604 Жыл бұрын
Well you said it MIDDRIVE That gets more torque and the gear ratios actually have an effect of the bikes ability to climb hills just like a car taking advantage of its gear ratios. Hub motors are what they are. If you throttle only it’s the motor only powering you and the gear ratios make no difference unlike mid drive
