I’m surprised Rudy's "I gotta fit in, not them" wasn’t in the top 100. I think that confessional showed very clearly what the producers wanted to go for with Survivor: different people from different lifestyles trying to cope with each other. Rudy knew it. And eventually he mastered it.

These were all robbed. Good list overall but some questionable entries over much more iconic ones. Also Sandra in PI saying she'll burn down the camp. Fairplay's grandma watching jerry springer, fat women and furniture and Sandra not having the mill. Overall good stuff though, maybe make a top 500 confessionals next time ;)

Ah yes, Redemption Island. Back when there weren’t a few thousand idols in a season and you _could_ throw a clue into a volcano. Oddly enough, that season probably could’ve used a few bullshit idols early on to even out the fight

I feel that this is an appropriate place to mention that Heroes vs Villains (A universally beloved season) had more idol plays than Game Changers (A season specifically lambasted for "having too many idols").

@@ThorHC11 Game Changers is attacked for having too many twists, not too many idols. That being said, HvV’s idols were handled MUCH better, because there were only ever a maximum of 2 in the game at a time. 2 tribes at the beginning = one idol per tribe. In GC we had a 3 tribe split so one idol at each camp PLUS the legacy advantage PLUS the vote steal led to way too many advantages in the game at one time, an issue the previous seasons never ran into. Make sense?

She was an underwhelming winner both times. Undeserving in PI? I mean she was sitting next to someone who was already voted out that season so not really. She's just not the best...and never will be.

Nope!! Sandra is actually one of the best. If you don't understand how Sandra got to the end, I don't know what to tell you. Even Paravti didn't want to go the end with Sandra. She said if she wasn't in the Final 3, she would vote for Sandra. Remember this, Survivor is a social and perception and timing is everything. I could giving you a list of Survivors who mastered this and Sandra is one of them. I know you thought that Russell should have won but he is one of the worst survivors and the one of the greatest goats of all time. Sarah Lacina got a bitter jury to give her a million dollars and she is more villainous than Russell imo. The more I watch survivor, the more I realize how much Russell sucks. This dude did everything to get to day 39 but he couldn't even pretend to be sorry or vulnerable to win the title? Sandra was working the jury since the beginning of the merge while Parvati wanted to take goats to end. Both Sandra and Parvati knew that Russell is a goat. Parvati actually took her chances with Sandra at FTC. Parvati realized at FTC that Sandra had a complete hold of Jury. Meanwhile, Russell is sitting like a deer in headlights trying to figure out why he's not getting any votes or praise. The game of Survivor goes over the heads of Russell and his fans. They really don't understand this game at all. They all think big moves and voting out people anyhow makes you a great player and mastermind. If you want to see a great master mind, look at Yul from Survivor Cook Islands. If you want to see a complete vote out done strategically, look at Natalie from BvW. If you want to see a paranoid ass villian voting people out without getting back lash, look at Tony from winners at war. If you want to see a villians who has won against bitter Juries, look at Sarah Lacina in game changers and Sophie Clarke in Survivor South Pacific. The jury speeches are also part of the Survivor game strategy.
