In the tenth frame if you get a strike you can throw 2 more shots and if you get a second strike you can go for a third. Or if you strike and get another shot you can get a spare as your two more shots. If you spare at the beginning of the tenth you get one more ball.

I bowl competitively every week, so I know a lot about the game. If you get a strike in the tenth frame, you get another two strikes or one spare. To get pin dropper, you only need the first strike in the tenth frame. The extra balls don’t count.

The third throw in the 10th frame is called your fill ball. To get a clean game it's to leave no open frames eleven if you have a shitty fill ball. I bowl IRL competitively so I'm a bowling nerd. A perfect is with all strikes a clean game is no open frames.
