This hurt to watch since I practically did nothing but sword play when I played this game. When they block hit them not perpendicular to the sword, but along it. Can't block with a sword tip. So if their sword is straight up and down, you swing top to bottom or bottom to top. In this video you always hit them side to side when they were blocking those swings. Change your swings to match their block style and you can block the same way. Hold it perpendicular to their swing. They even give you time to adjust before they swing. This is coming from someone who did all of the sword play showdowns without getting hit just as a personal goal as a 12 y/o.
