Brother I commend you for taking time to share your humanity with others who are less prepared or preparedness minded. However IMO the economic collapse that we face will so debilitate society, our two primary tools will likely be an AR and the best running shoes we can buy. God bless. Keep on keepin on.

If sofas and comfy chairs are your predominant concern SHTF then by golly TELL ME WHAT STATE YOU’RE IN. I’ll move tomorrow

The sad part is I live in Minnesota. The experience I have is from the Global Pandemic in 2020. When we were all stuck at home, staying as comfortable as possible was very important. The other is rising inflation. Not being able to afford to go anywhere or do anything again being as comfortable as possible inside our own home is very important. What also comes with inflation is the inability to replace expensive items. Maintaining and repairing what we already have is key to keeping a "normal" way of life. Even with all the riots and looting that happened here in Minnesota being able to stay put inside the comfort of my own home kept my family and I far away from any danger. So even though a chair and couch might not seem like the most SHTF things to focus on, having them has already in my lifetime been a huge blessing in multiple different situations.
