I have tried the 100% Pure cream foundation (very dry and hard to spread), BB cream (very thick so if the shade doesn't match it's not forgiving. However, this is SO LUMINOUS and moisturizing. If they had my shade, the BB cream would be my every day favorite.) I also use the 2nd skin foundation. I've tried shade 3 (more yellow), then 1, but neither are quite right. However, the coverage, finish, and staying power is beautiful. My only complaint is that it shows EVERY dry patch and I have to prep my skin well before applying. Also, dermaplaning really helps it to lay well. Also, none of the bronzer shades were quite right, so i purchased the second skin concealer in shade 6 and I LOVE it as a liquid bronzer.

100% Pure was probably one of the first clean beauty brands I found when I was first curious. And they were in all the drugstores that I would shop around in on my lunch breaks back when I lived in NYC! It was awesome to see a full face of 100% Pure, and I adore this pink eye look, Alexa!! I totally understand getting in that creative rut when filming in one spot. I love all your videos, no matter where you shoot! But I really like this spot, so I hope you keep it in the mix!

I love 100% Pure and it's pretty much the only makeup brand I wear now. I usually don't wear foundation but I got the 2nd Skin because it had such great ingredients. My daily routine is to just mix a pump of the luminous primer with a pump of the all over glow and apply that to my face with my fingers. Now I add 3 drops of 2nd Skin to the mixture to get a nice more perfected skin look, and the products work well together. I find just using fingers works better than a brush or sponge.

It has an inch of water sitting on top and after shaking I apply with a sponge because brush is dreadfullly streaky and still separates like crazy. And that's with moisturizer and primer. Clings to dry patches didn't even know I had.

Ooh the mascara looks interesting. Let us know what you think after more use. I might look into that instead of Ilia mascara. Almost out of my ere Perez avocado mascara and I'd like to test a new one out if there's potential. The new setting is a nice switch up. It does not smudge on me, but I typically don't have an issue with smudging and my eyes are not oily :)

I would definitely recommend for oily skin because it is quite a matte formula. In terms of humidity, I am not sure how this will hold up. I have not tested it in those conditions, but it does dry down to a slightly powdery finish so it may do quite well :)
