When you listen to chuck berry, chances are there's one other song with a similar (if not exactly the same) opening riff Let it rock-johnny b goode-carole, many more School day-no particular place to go Maybelline-thirty days Again, many more than these few examples

Thats not true. Chuck had an arsenal of licks and ya some were variations.....but brown eyed man memphis maybeline and never can tell sound nothing like johnny b goode or each other

You truly deserve that Rickenbacker. As a now 73 year old guitar player … wanna say it gives me a good feeling to see someone so young not only love my childhood n teen years music …. But to also be a masterful player too …. It Is to me most excellent and heartwarming!!!!

I was blown away by your KZbin video because it encapsulated every song I used know and love and play on my guitar from the 50's to the 70's when I grew up in Northern England. If only you could have played each song for a little bit longer. Thnx.

The way you put all those tunes together in one mix is done with great musicality. And the same goes for the performance! Very interesting, and a pleasure for the ears. (Those were and are great riffs, and easy to recognise!)

B4_BertoB yeah! Combined with a Dsus4 on Lennon's acoustic, a D on McCartneys Bass, both cymbals being hit at the same time by Starr, and George Martin playing a G on the piano! It's so good.

I just recently picked up guitar, and slowly learning. I got the cowboy chords down alright, like I can go back n forth from E to G like nobody's business, haha, but I still pretty slow....don't even get me started on those bar chords, ouch!
