@@alondra.mlch07 I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my first dog 4 years ago and I never expected it to hurt so much. A couple of months after he died, a friend told me that her chihuahua had puppies and offered one of them. I think I jumped in too soon, but I needed to fill that hole in my heart. So, I accepted the puppy and called him Alfie. He can be a little prince, but he's also really sweet. :) I don't regret getting him.

@@bestpetsever his name from the shelter was Marshmallow, but was nicknamed Teefers because he "smiles" and shows his teeth when he's happy. He didnt seem like a Marshmallow so we used his nickname for awhile, but now we just call him Tooth.

I rescued two of them. One hardly ever barks and he also smiles (even more funny now that he has no teeth). Hu doesnt lick all that much but loves to hug. hes been with us for seven years and is legit my life and my soul. His name is chewy. The other one barks a bit but shes a puppy and only barks when she doesnt know what something is (stuffed animals and snowmen... sometimes towels). Her name is cali. Shes been with us for about two months. Such a handful and so hyper 😂

Oh god, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one dealing with a feisty chihuahua. Alfie loves his bed (Really my parents king size bed) a little too much. If you try to take him away from it, he'll either hide under the pillows or bark at you. It's the same if you try to sit on "his spot" on the couch. He'll bark at you to get away. It's kinda funny, considering how tiny he is. (He just turned one and is still quite small for his breed.)
