I’m impressed in some ways but disappointed in others. But overall this is a very nice doll set and I’m very happy with them. I do hope we see other options for these characters but I doubt we will unfortunately :(

I was also quite disappointed by how little the sisters were featured in the live action movie, considering how gorgeous all of their redesigns are. Definitely nice there are at least dolls of them!

I am mainly interested in the new face sculpts on these, so I am waiting to see if they go on sale for a further discount. I would not be interested if they had poly hair, but saran hair and these beautiful faces are worthy of an articulated body transplant.

if you want to pose the tails without the backs showing the blank fabric, maybe tape a little piece of wire to the back of the tail fins so you can pose the fabric too

You can use acrylic paint to paint the backs of the tails. The patterns are not to hard to repeat.

The dolls are really pretty. But I looked it up, and these dolls are £144 over here - which is $186 in the current exchange rate - so I don't know how many uk collectors will be going for the set...

Hope they go on a huge sale! Goes $100 is a no though yea there is a lot of dolls I collect mermaids I liked the movie but I think other fandoms have more of a grip on me right now. I’m still playing catch up with my fandom I actively collect & Mattel is putting SO much out of them so sale or skip idk love the articulation not fabric I could see myself being happy with the mini dolls if I had to fit a lot less and less space which I’m dangerously running out of.

Are you planning on picking up the mattel collector tinkerbell? I'd be really interested to hear your thoughts on her (what I consider) unusual face sculpt, the quality for the price, and if it's justified in being called a collector doll

My main complaint with them is that the tail design isn't printed on both sides of the fabric. I feel like that would have gone a long way.

My favorite sister was to Mica but I’m a little disappointing on mala because her face and hair is not the same as the movie same thing with the first one that you did. I don’t know her name but her hair is different than the movie because she has a French braid hair not two ponytails

I would enjoy a movie reaction video if that is something you ever do, it's funny, I used to like listening to other people but only if I have literally watched the movie so many times I know it, but these endless remakes and reboots I don't care anymore! I would love to get these dolls, I already have the hard-tail (ha ha) Ariel and will probably do an arm transplant at some point! Great video, as usual I agree with all of your pros and cons!!

If they had the arm articulation it'd be 100% perfect imo!!! Stands would be good too specially for that price point, but I'd prioritize articulation first

It surprises me that you didn't mention the seven seas they represented. You use to be so accurate.They are gorgeous.I do not like the similarity of tops (same fabrik it seems) between purple and pink haired girls.And yes the tails should be back printed.
