I love her art. Not just a beautiful voice but inner drama and acting in every frase. I have almost all her official recordings and can say that "Stride la vampa" and all Azucena isn't the best way to apreciate her. Searching arias, young, ardent, intense and sentimental parts as in Charlotte, Erika or even Cherubino are her best!

She's a vital and unsubstituted member of ensemble in legendary Reiner Requiem. Her operatic roles were outstanding, her career was rich, long and in many cases unfaithfully overlooked. One of my suggestions for your great singers list, but not a big dissapontment. I'm just as happy rrading your kind words for her.

Wonderful singer indeed, more than just a background performer...though she almost stole the show in a recent-ish(shoot, probably 15 years now) "Fille du Regiment." I saw with Battle(unfortunate)and Pavarotti(worse).

@@xxsaruman82xx87 what I saw in New York was dreadful. Who was worse? Doesn't really matter: same season in san Francisco subscribers were wearing "I survived the Battle" tee shirts. Same year. We are all entitled to say who is worse I guess. Regardless...loved Me. Elias. Highly underated and highly versatile. Best
