No doubt, the best album, without Dave L on drums. I saw this tour n STL. It was fkn awesome!! Paul B. At the end of the concert threw his sticks n2 to the audience and they hit me n the head and some other dude grabbed em. I was pissed but oh well absolute killer concert!!

Same! My fave hands down and all thanks go to Paul’s drumming, which he took it to a new level of technicality on D.I. Edit : D.I. was underrated at the time of release (1994) because it took a back seat to more popular albums like PANTERA’s ‘FBD’ and MACHINE HEAD’s ‘BME’ which were released at the same time.

@@gdogg3710 I played drums in a thrash band from I was 17 to 25, and the only problem I remember was the build up of heat. Some water on my head now and then solved that. Later, I lost the stamina to do it. So yea, an age thing. As you get older, you lose the ability to do a whole set at full speed.

Well let us be realistic. A drumming guy wearing a mask, posting youtube videos of covers anonymously and only having 19K followers doesn't amount to a world tour. Other drummers like Cobus have over 750K followers. Delta needs to be incorporated and has a management team like myself that helps to grow the product. That way, Delta can make substantial income to feed a family, get a mortgage and have a career. How was your day Jenna? Would you like to join Delta's management team.

Dave and Paul are just different. Dave gets a lot of what I would call “worship.” Paul is a legend to people who are honest.

Paul is a much more interesting drummer than Dave, who has one speed and pattern. My first exposure to Slayer was Divine Intervention so that set the mark for me. Frankly, going back to the Lombardo stuff was a slight disappointment as I listened to more Slayer. Don’t get me wrong, Lombardo set the high standard for thrash drumming and is amazing. But Bostaph is, along with Vinnie Paul, the most interesting metal drummer.
