It is a cool airport with a 35’ wide runway! It’s in great condition though, so it’s not a big deal if you can stay on the centre line. Hopefully winter stays away for a little while so I can get more fun flights in.

It’s a great spot for sure. Luckily I was able to borrow a vehicle to drive there as it was pretty chilly for riding my folding bike that fits in the 172. I’ll definitely be back.

Very cool! Car and motorcycle folks do a lot of the same things pilots do on a nice day. Head out to go for a nice drive or ride and end up at an interesting place for a bite to eat. Pilots just do it in the air. Glad you’re enjoying the videos.

My brother in law and his friend took off from there with a Comanche 250 to fly it to Alberta in April 2022 and they crashed closed to Wawa Ontario unfortunately they both died on impact.

We landed at CDH6 Delhi, Ontario. It’s PPR, but a quick call to the owner gave us permission to use it. It has a nice 3189’ paved runway. They have a couple picnic tables and a bbq beside the runway, so I’m hoping to go there in the warmer weather just to cook my own lunch beside the runway. -Wayne.
