100% on the short stubby guys. Especially the ones who are built like soda machines, which we have 3-4 in class every night. Im fairly tall, but mount is pointless since my knees don’t even touch the mat on these guys, and back control is hard to maintain cause the body triangle isn’t possible. Makes them very tough to finish

Wait how are u tall and can’t get the body triangle. My shins are short so i have difficult getting it and most of the time just put my top leg on the hip instead of locking the body triangle. And the other leg across the belly. Like an open body triangle. But it works too for trapping the arm. Or overhook side works with the high ball ride
