I can't think of parting from my WR8's. I first got the Impreza because of Richard Burns being my favourite rally driver. By a strike of grace I was able to get the Ken Block RX version (blue wheeled beast) and I can't get enough of it The looks, the sound, the power and the whole driving experience is frikkin' awesome. @@AceKC Just the shell, i think. I have the 2017 version with the ford body he used in Dubai.( Camelon color;) ) It's look pretty same otherwise i think. But the body i have is so insane nice! Was lucky and got the last body that was able to buy of a rc store/Internet store. Use one to drive with. And the other when i not driving. hehe

Couldnt respect you more for this tomley - you knew what the market was looking like in terms of ken blocks merch being sold at sky high prices upon news of his death but rather than cash in like the rest of them you did something productive and gave it for someone else to have fun with 100% some collector would just shove that on the shelf if sold it regular which isnt a bad thing but realistically they are ment to be driven like real cars Ive never understood people whom buy such an investment and turn it into an expensive paperweight but hey .. not my money 😂 Fair play tomley thank you for being something positive for the community and giving back man ♥️+1000 respect Im sure in the spirit of the sport ken would be proud

I’ve been wanting the WR8 Flux since 2013 when Gymkhana 5 came out but I never had that kind of money to buy one and I was just getting into RC Hobby back then. I was sad that it went discontinued for a long time until last year I heard they brought it back but this time it was the Subaru WRX STI body which I believe it was the Colin McRae edition. They did also brought back the Nitro version as well.

I knew of Ken Block and Hoonigan, but didn't pay much attention to the new rally cars until recently. The look of them is so off putting, I just knew about Colin McRae and watched rally back in the early 2000s. But watching footage of the full scale likes of the Yaris and Fiestas, they are slowly growing on me. Those cars do some insane Group B type of stuff and the fans haven't seemed to learn from history 😁. I don't like how they all look the same, but I get it.. it's for the safety of the drivers at the end of the day. Can't wait to race you on that rally track in the skies, Ken! Legends never die!

I'm so glad we share the same opinion on the wr8. I have the flux and the nitro. Both absolute weapons. Mine are the subarus though, and I have the abu dhabi body as well. Just needs the rear fender. Nice car Phil, guess I'll have to enter the raffle.

That WR8 Flux rocks!! How I wish I Could get one of these bad boy🥺. I’m a fan of HPI, I Do Have the HPI RS4 Sport 3 Drift ( Fatlace Subaru BRZ). They’re a great basher and I’m trying to make it a entry level car for Drifting and Touring 🙂. But Finding upgrade parts for my car it’s so hard. 😢 I hope I could find one.

Yes, for me the most fun rc car of all. We drive it more than 10 years. And its fun like in the first days. I am very happy that they dont stop the production. its the only rc car what i have never sell. And i had many... But you have to change some things to get it perfekt. Like to replace the crap original ESC and Damper.

My 1st ever real rc car was a nitro hpi bmw m3 2 speed, paid stupid money for it as a kid, saved up for over a year, got it home, fired it up, took it up and down the street a few times, as per the instructions. Ran a few tanks of nitro through it. And it was all loosened up and ready too rock. Tried my 1st dougbut in it. Broke the left front drive axle, blew the clutch, stripped the drive gears. I was not amused. Had it for 2 weeks, and it went to the rubbish tip. 12 months of 5am starts for my paper round for nothing! 😂😢
