@@Twiggierjet i think Kremlin was surprised on how fast and successful he is and made excuses that he didn't meet the deadline. They deemed him possibly a threat to the leadership and if the war is over he might be sacked, relived or outright court martial for treason then execution. Power struggle between the Soviet generals where a thing

Yeah, you're always able to run circles around the AI but this campaign seemed even more one sided than usual. Still, some battles were awesome.

Although I think that the “Left Hook” Campaign is more interesting on the NATO side because of the Belgian and British NORTHAG troops, it would have been nice if you played the campaigns of each attack axis with the same faction. So Airborne Assault and Left Hook take place on the Kassel - Dortmund Axis while the other ones are on the Fulda - Frankfurt Axis. This way it would create more of a story feeling

Can I ask if this game has support troops? The blue team will have a green support team and the red team will have a light yellow team.

You can assign whatever you like to the AI if you like to "support" you but I like to manage all my troops personally.

Pact gameplay does seem a whole lot easier than NATO

Not every time but the soviet battalions are certainly a jack of all trades compared to a lot of NATO ones. It is imo mostly due to decision to spread each company of the tank battalion in the motor rifle regiment (and motor rifle battalion in the tank regiment) and attach them to the motor rifle battalions. That is also historically accurate because in the soviet doctrine these battalions were not designed to operate independently but to reinforce the main type battalions in the regiment. Also soviet combat units tend to have quite a lot of organic artillery (even if it's just 2S1 or D-30, both only 122 mm), like a battery for each battalion, which is something most NATO units lack having only organic mortars (US armored cavalry not included as they have organic M109)
