That hidden mine trap was devastating. Get to 4 asap so you can get critters to clear mines. I was using all heavies free clearing at 3 but I had the 20% TH. Right now I’m stuck in upper 14 and hoarding keys to jump to 5ER and boom cannons tomorrow.

It is rough, but heavies/grens is a viable option in early 4ER. It gets pretty tough when you face someone with DC and critters so the sooner you get there the better! Tanks work, but they are not necessary and you can save the keys to get to the DC faster. Make a straight path there.

Sorry the start has been so rough. You may want to consider skipping tanks (another troop that won’t be used after getting HC’s). You will want prioritize how you spend your keys and Heavies with Grens is viable in 4 ER. That said, 4 ER will be rough until you get some iteration of Critters and the Doom Cannon. Be patient. After getting the DC, I went to Gold on was on the Global Leaderboard (until the morning, 🤣). Also, after 5 ER, consider the lower path of BC’s, SL’s and up through 6 ER to HC’s. Otherwise, you’ll be unlocking 3 more troops, Mechs, Lasers and Seekers. Too many troops is like more than one Hero. (Skip Brick and wait for Kevan, IMO.) Good luck!

I have just got my 4 accounts into 4ER, and I have been in freefall. All of my accounts have dropped at least 1 full rank, get everything max before going 4 ER.

See, now you have wasted a ton of precious keys/tokens by opening warriors and then zookas. By any chance did you look at the sneak peaks for this season? Stoneheart showed the 2 different starting paths before the season started.

OK now u have smoke and max troop damage maybe u can heavy rush 2 ers with 6 heavies and use 2 warriors for a single ER but don't forget to use 1 lead boat of heavies for mine clearing just trying to help u maintain iron rank 😁

@C177boombeachgameplay Heavies and warriors are ur best bet for staying in iron as u know grens are too slow and zooks are fragile to mines but my suggestion is only good on base dependent good luck to u bud
