Explanation: Total capacity of Tank (LCM of 10&12)= 60 Amount of water filled by Pipe A in 1 min --> 60/10=6 ltr Amount of water filled by Pipe B in 1 Min --> 60/12= 5 ltr Allowed time for fill the tank --> 4PM - 10 AM = 6 hours Here Pipe B will be On for entire 6 hours. So it will fill 6 x 5 = 30 ltr Balance amount of water 60- 30 = 30 ltr Pipe A fill 6 ltr in 1 min so 30/6 =5 hours is enough for Pipe A to fill 30 litter of water. ie; 10 Am+ 5 hours = 3 PM Answer is 3PM
