As another veteran with PTSD, that's why I fish and watch lojo fishing videos... Fishing is my therapy... I'm not saying I shouldn't also get in to see another therapist, but I haven't found one I got a long with.. so, I fish and it makes me semi functional

That's a killer lineup, can believe there weren't more bites early on. I have learned not to leave those Z man ned baits in a hot truck in the south. Ended up with one big salty and greasy chartreuse blob in my tackle box.

Mr LoJo, I commented yesterday on the backyard pond updates (love them). However, I do have an idea for a good challenge. No crazy gimmicks nor unreasonable budget.... What if you allow any subscriber or even myself choose your combo according to our budget! I've been a subscriber for just a few months, but I've buckled down and caught up on at least 3yrs of videos. With that being said I have not seen a challenge like this. ( we choose your combo at our budget and to be nice we choose your Googan baits according to our local fishing trends ).

I’ve been watching your videos for years. I’m from the same area and joined the military about 4 years ago and I’ve been out in Okinawa Japan. Not many places to bass fish here but I am fortunate to have a spot that I can go to. I’ve driven by that pond with the fountain many times when I was back home and I had no clue you could fish in it. I’m coming home in about 6 months and I’m looking at purchasing a property with a 3 acre pond on it that’s apparently loaded with fish. Fishing is tough in the heat. I’ve been having the best luck with a green pumpkin Senko or trick worm. But my biggest bass this summer was caught on a rage swim bait. Great video and lure options. And thanks for your service!!🇺🇸

Summer fishing 🎣 is tough. I’ve basically have been using the Texas and Wacky rig here in S Illinois this summer. The Mondo worm and the Yum Dinger bubblegum Swirl has been doing the best work. Great 👍🏽 job in 112°

$100 budget is right up my alley as well. As a new guy to “serious” fishing (not just using worms on an old spincaster), I wander aisles at the store trying to figure out what will work, lol. This would take the guesswork out of it for me! HA! Backyard pond looks so good! Tough fishing but that’s how the summer goes! Have been having a lot of luck lately with the Doob Tube and snapping it up with a good hard rod jerk then letting it flutter back down to the bottom. It’s been getting nailed on the fall. Love the videos!

It takes guts for someone to speak up about this and then you talked about your struggles as well… Thank you for taking the time to discuss this topic. There are so many people out there, struggling. I am hoping your words of encouragement and where to reach out for someone makes a huge difference.❤ Kudos to you on pond hoping to try your best to utilize every item in the box. Persistence paid off. I was laughing with your commentary about the alligators in that one area where the grass was laid down. I was thinking, on this giveaway, you should autograph the top of the box. That would be cool to have. Summertime is hard to get the fish to bite, top water always seems to be my “go to”. First thing in the morning or at night. Sometimes I am successful and other times the only bite I get is a bug bite.I don’t mind as everyday is a gift and being on the water one way or another with a fishing pole in hand, for me, is the best therapy one could ever ask for. My favorite summer time lure or it can really be used all year round in stained water is a fire n ice colored 7.5 inch curly tail worm from culprit and throw it on a quarter oz Texas rig. This thing has absolutely been nailing the bass for me all summer long. I like to pitch it around docks, rocks, up against sea walls, around stumps , brush piles, and skip it under docks and boats if I can. In clear water my favorite summer bait is either a wacky style watermelon red senko or Texas rigged green pumpkin or watermelon red senko. Flukes also are great summer baits and can also perform well on dropshot rigs in summer and winter when bass are lethargic.

I agree with most this kit. You can fish it from Texas to Ohio most times of the year. I’ve caught 90% of my fish this year on a Spinnerbait. White in color with gold blades. Let’s see you go on a river float in a kayak using some lighter gear. 20 miles, Camp, fish!

If you like the NED rig, you should try the FRED rig. ;) For summer fishing, try the big TRD instead of the finesse TRD. A little more action and wiggle above the muddy grassy bottom. Also like to use the weedless NED rig to pop it up and let it fall and then wiggle it around. And slow everything down.
