I did check the specs for the build. Solid. However, I do have some recommendations. For the case, you have picked a solid budget one but you have alternatives. For example, the Deepcool Matrexx 40 3FS, the Montech A100 RGB or the Thermaltake S100 TG. For the CPU I’d go with the R5 5600, for the higher L3 cache and support for Gen 4 PCIe. For the GPU, I’d recommend the 6650XT (do check the pricing you can find on both, and do research accordingly, it might change for you). For the ram, I’d strongly recommend higher clock low latency, as Ryzen CPUs work a lot better with those. Go for the Corsair vengeance lpx 3600Mhz 16GB (2x8GB) c18, and if it’s in your budget, definitely go for the 32GB (2x16GB) of the Corsair vengeance lpx 3600Mhz The NVME ssd is a great option, alternatives include the solidigm p41 plus and crucial p3 plus. The PSU I’d go for the MSI MAG A650BN (or A550BN), or you could go for the CX series from Corsair (go for the cx650 or 550) they’re cheaper and very reliable. (Do check the pricing in your country). The motherboard is a decent option and alternative is, Asus PRIME B550M-A WIFI II. Although, you will have much better options which are slightly more expensive (bear in mind these are WiFi motherboards, if you are using Ethernet, you can find cheaper ones without it) For the cooler you can stick with the stock, although if in your budget I’d recommend the Deepcool AK400. Tip to avoid issues: If you are playing Fortnite with AMD cards, don’t use performance mode, keep it on DX12. Happy building! (Kudos on the build)

Ik this is a joke but that's where you get to a point of diminishing returns. You're prolly not gonna get higher performance than the 600 dollars pc when you play a game that old because your gpu will automatically nerf itself to not hit too high of an fps to both protect itself from the heat and not make the cpu straint itself to calculate allat frames. That is if the game can handle allat fps.

Building a 4k gaming pc would be a challenge an rtx4090 is around 2k u can get a cpu that wont bottleneck it for less than 500 and the ram storage power supply and case can EASILY fit in under 500.Soooooo it would be hard to get a pc for 4k unless prebuilt

I’ll recommend staying on 200fps in those games tbh

Personally, even if we ignore the $1500 and $4000 PCs I still think there's a simple solution. The other two were $100 and $600 so what I'd do is keep the $100 one and then for less than half the cost of the $600 pc (likely about $200-$280) you can just upgrade the $100 one. An i7 cpu, 16gb of ram, a decent but cheap GPU and you would have a solid gaming rig that could probably give the $600 build a run for it's money.

If you get a low profile card for that OptiPlex you can actually get some pretty decent performance out of it. I got a little Radeon HD 8570 for like $15 for my old OptiPlex 600 and it ran great for a while, ended up upgrading to my current ASUS G20CB with a GTX 1080 and wow what an upgrade but still. $115 for a computer that can run a lot of programs and games on fairly low settings is pretty good for a piece of shit.
