Muchas gracias funciona muy bien en mint 19.0, lo único que al terminar el proceso no reproduce video. Hay que actualizar wine según su propia página. Luego abrir iexplore, el cual nos indica instalar un complemento para acceder a internet correctamente. Después desinstalar ivms 4200 y volver a instalar y listo queda funcionando excelentemente.

in ubuntu 20 (no application given in the link is working) ----- [confirmed] in ubuntu 18 (working like a charm) ivms software will not be showing online cameras. it will not detect automatically. you have to manually add camera with its Ip address and camera username and password. thanks a lot. the only video which is helpful.

For checking IP address in network, you can install and use sdp tool It will show you all camera IP

trying this on linux mint LMDE 20, when attempting to install SADP Tools, at the end of the wizard an error pops up: "Failed to add npf service..." i'm trying to figure it out yet.

both applications runs, SADP Tools doesn't detect anything. iVMS doesn't detect anything and doesn't connect with any of the known devices on the network.

if command; $ sudo apt update isnt working as shown than go to software update and disable ""Cdrom with ubuntu 20.04 Focal Fossa " option in ubuntu software tab enable only if you want to update wifi, lan or any third party drivers through ubuntu updater

Some time SADP doesn't support, but check in iVMS, it will definitely work Good Luck
