this video just supports my theory to not waste $100 on some peoples' junk coins they no longer want. you could have spent $100 on a coin with real value!

As a Belgian collector, this video was an absolute treat! Concerning the siege coin from Antwerp: "Anvers" is French for Antwerp and "monaie" (pronounced monè) just means coin. Obsidionale I had to look up (it is quite a rare word, and I am not a francophone myself). The definition in my Larousse dictionary is: 1. Concerning the fact of besieging a city, of being besieged 2. Said of coins of necessity struck during a siege, hence of hasty manufacture so "monaie obsidionale" means siege money For the coin from the Belgian Congo, you made a minor mistake: almost all atrocities there were committed during the "Congo vrijstaat/état indépendant du congo"-period (when the Congo was private property of the Belgian king and not a state colony), which would have been a different issuing entity. These are also very interesting coins, I recommend that you look them up!

Wow, the Mexican real was really cool! FYI, this date is one of the only two “transition years” of Mexican coinage, where they put the name of Carolus IIII but continued to use the portrait of Carolus III. Very interesting coin.

Hello silverpicker, I would like to ask you a question? How many pages can the Danco 7070 type set (your type set) fit? I want to fit all 7 pages they released in there and I want to know if it’s possible. I see many with 5 but I want to make sure it can fit 7

well a 9 dollar profit on a 100 dollar grab bag not unreasonable give or take a couple of dollars either way i would have been satisfied with that grab bag i liked the variety and there was some silver so that is always good.

I could get into Spanish Reales. I have a few. They were the world standard currency for a long time, basically the Athenian Tetradrachm of the pirate days. That's definitely the one I'd want the most from that lot. The siege coin is cool too though.

That's weird, because just last week I saw a video when teasuretown. Mr. Christopher was show these very same coins that he had just bought from a friend of his. If I'm not mistaken, he bought the 3 pounds of world coins for $30.00 dollars. And at the end of video he was saying. That if someone would offer him $40.00 dollars for all the coins, but not the silver ones. That he will sale them. And now I see you in this video saying that you bought them in a $100.00 grab bag. Hm ,maybe I'm wrong? But when you said that Christopher would like this old coin in his collection. That's what freak me out. Because he already had that very same coin in his hands.

If I would pay 100 dollars for coins I would like to have a lot of them to complete my collection. For that reason I would never buy grab bags. You always end with coins you don't want and have to resell yourself.
